"Our second time in this house. Just as good as the first time. Super house in great location. Children love the huge garden. Adults love the huge kitchen. Very close to the town but incredibly quiet. Everything you need and more. Great hosts who gave clear instructions and great communications. Thank you very much and we hope to stay again."

"We picked this hotel as it within walking distance of town centre and beach area. Also it has free car parking and plenty of space. The room was large and clean, we stayed in the annex building and used the main bar. The hotel is old and quirky but well cared for with obvious ongoing care and maintenance. Staff were all helpful, polite and cheerful. We would recommend this to others and be very happy to stay again."

"My 11 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Lookout. Photos don’t do it justice! Everything was very clean, the beds were comfy and everything you could possibly need for your trip was somewhere to be found in the cottage. Michael’s communication was great, getting in was easy and the views over to Corfe Castle were spectacular."

"This is a beautiful house situated at the top of the town, with amazing views across Swanage. Centrally located for all local services, there are some lovely places to eat and explore. The house was lovely and clean and the spacious kitchen was a dream size, (one of the reasons we chose this particular house, as my own kitchen is tiny) sadly we were not expecting to find most of the kitchen cupboards locked and notices telling us which cupboards we were allowed to use, the same happened with the drawers and wardobes in the bedrooms, and the bathroom cabinet was 3 part full of someone elses toiletries and medication creams.I don't normally like to put negative comments in a review but for just over 2000 for 2 weeks, we expected to get the whole house as promised, this is what has happened on our previous cottage home bookings. We probably would not have booked if we had known this in advance.Overall though the house is a lovely tranquil place to stay, watching the fish swimming around was very relaxing sat on the wall, but it could have been better with a couple of garden chairs to sit out in the sun in the lower garden for when the sun is fierce on the balcony. We loved Swanage itself, its ike going back to the good old beach days, with deck chairs for hire, plenthy of fish & chip shops and other restaraunts to choose from and amusement arcades, crazy golf and with so much for children to do. We would revisit Swanage happily."

"I was worried about noise levels - it being on the site of a pub during the World Cup but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. V convenient parking and location. V clean and well appointed accommodation. Our second stay here and we’ll come again."
