Dar es Salaam Holidays

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Experience at RIU Palace Swahili Zanzibar! My husband and I had a wonderful stay at RIU Palace Swahili Zanzibar for our honeymoon. Everything was absolutely beautiful, from the stunning property and breathtaking ocean views to the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel special and well taken care of throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the rooms were comfortable and beautiful, and the entire resort was clean, relaxing, and luxurious. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. It was the perfect place to relax, celebrate our love, and create beautiful honeymoon memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you to the entire RIU Palace Swahili team for making our honeymoon so special and unforgettable. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious, romantic, and memorable vacation in Zanzibar. We would definitely love to come back! ❤️🌴🌊

Absolutely first class holiday and resort. Food was exceptionally good, both in the a La Carte restaurants and the buffet, grounds were immaculate, staff were friendly and warm. The pool areas and raised beach were fabulous. If you had a question or needed help with something, dial 9 and reception staff sorted it without ever needing to leave your room. Without doubt one of our best holidays ever and we will be going back next year without a doubt. The only note of caution would relate to disabled or elderly clients, the resort is well advertised as large and sprawling and dotted around a hillside, so walking about for some might be difficult. We loved with Island and would rate this holiday overall as a 10/10!

Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. In addition, the food unfortunately falls below expectations. Considering the price, the culinary experience could have been significantly better. This becomes particularly noticeable when compared to similar hotels in destinations such as the Seychelles or Cape Verde, where the food standard is often higher within the same price range. It is also worth mentioning that the Hotels.com Gold benefits (Early/Late checkout, Upgrade) do not seem to apply here (even when listed on confirmatio). However, this appears to be more an issue with Hotels.com rather than the hotel itself. Overall, a perfectly acceptable place to stay, but somewhat overpriced for the experience it offers.
