"A comfortable hotel, but Hotels.com needs to make it clearer that this is one of those European hotels without staff, where one needs codes to enter the building and room. Unfortunately, the hotel never sent me the codes, and I stood outside the door for a good ten minutes before a kind passerby helped me by calling the hotel for me to ge the codes (my US phone doesn't work in Europe). "MOTORCYCLE TOUR Enjoyed my stay for the following reasons: Secure outdoor parking for our motorcycles behind a big iron, 24hr locked gate. Very comfortable room with air conditioning. Comfortable bed. UK news channels on the TV. Hot shower and lift to the upper floors. What I thought was OK; Breakfast, easy 15 min walk to the historic town for restaurants and bars, quiet safe area. Problems: I had to return 5 times to reception because my room key didn't always open my room door; but my friends room was fine. Beer..... I'm a big fan of Belgium beer but ..... I ordered a beer from the pump and it tasted awful, sour and had a sharp taste; the receptionist put on a new barrel and I believe there may have been pipe cleaner in the system. I complained, and I couldn't drink it but didn't get a refund as the barman said he didn't drink beer so couldn't comment - it also had small particles floating in it. I had the same beer in town and it tasted completely different - very disappointing"

"Clean room, large and air conditioned with good sized well appointed bathroom. If you are staying here for an early flight, check the details on how to get from the airport to the hotel by shuttle bus the eve before your flight well in advance! The public transport will get you back to the airport, but the shuttle would need to be booked from airport to the hotel 24 hrs in advance.. the shuttle from hotel to the airport in the early morning if is not an issue and very quick. Don't arrive expecting dinner.. there's literally a small corner shop in the village and a 20 mini walk to a frites outlet. That's it."
