4-bedroom saltwater pool home with spa, Providence golf resort, Davenport

Picture yourself on the sun shelf of your own saltwater pool while the kids swim its 30-foot length, then everyone ends the day in the raised spa. This single-level home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and sleeps 8 at gated Providence Golf Community in Davenport, about 14 miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom and 18 from Magic Kingdom.

THE POOL
Your own screened saltwater pool is 30 feet long, with a sun shelf for lounging in the shallows and a raised, bubbling spa. The deck faces south and has four cushioned sun loungers, and the shaded lanai has an outdoor dining table. Pool towels are provided, and a half bathroom opens onto the deck. For families with little ones, there is a safety fence between the house and the pool.

ROOM FOR EIGHT
All four bedrooms are on the ground floor, and each has a 50-inch TV.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the third bathroom, which has a tub and shower.

KITCHEN AND LIVING
The family room has a large sectional sofa and a 65-inch TV, and opens onto the pool deck. The kitchen has stone counters, stainless-steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker and an island with three stools. The breakfast table seats four and the dining table seats eight. A full-size washer and dryer mean you can pack lighter. Wi-Fi is included.

GETTING IN
You let yourselves in with a private door code, sent with your Arrival Instructions. Providence has a gatehouse staffed around the clock: we register the main guest, so tell us the names of any other drivers before you arrive.

PROVIDENCE GOLF COMMUNITY
The resort has an 18-hole golf course with a pro shop and restaurant, a pool with waterslides, a lap pool, a fitness center, tennis courts and a children's playground. The clubhouse pools, fitness center and tennis courts are open to guests of the home, and golf is booked at the pro shop. The clubhouse and golf course are run by Providence, and their opening hours can change.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Pool and spa heating is optional: $35 a night, with a 4-night minimum. Ask before you arrive.
- The spa is a raised part of the pool, not a separate hot tub.
- The home has no grill, but you can rent a gas grill for your stay: $80 a week for a two-burner ($15 each extra day) or $115 a week for a four-burner ($20 each extra day), plus tax.
- You arrive to a starter supply of coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, trash bags and bathroom tissue. For a longer stay you will want to top these up.
- Smoking is allowed outside only.
