"Elaine welcomed us to the Carmelite, having remembered us from our quick visit a week previous when we wanted to make sure where we would be staying. The hotel is convenient to good restaurants, and my favorite ice cream shop (Mackie’s!). An easy walk to the train, as well. The room was clean, the bedding crisp, and the shower nice and hot."

The night receptionist was very helpful indeed as we arrived very late from the concert. Room was fine though the quirky glasswork as the bathroom entrance is nuts. All in all a decent place to stay."
