Amazing Mountain View & Cabin Retreat - Big Canoe

  • Amazing mountain cabin located in Big Canoe Community! Gated security welcomes you to your mountain retreat filled with fun activities such as golf, fishing, trails, boating, kayaking, swimming, tennis, lakes and more! The cabin also offer fun activities such as fire places, pool table, bar, bar seating, wine cellar, TVs, Outdoor TV, bluetooth speakers, retro arcade games, BBQ and three patio areas all over looking the mountains for an amazing view. With 6 bedrooms (each with an amazing view one of them being an in law Suite) with their own private bathrooms makes this a perfect vacation retreat from any large family.

    Cabin is fully equipped with an automatic generator to power the whole cabin if needed. Big Canoe community/vacation area does not allow motorcycles, trailers or bicycling with in the gates. Driveway can fit 2 cars in the garage and an additional 3-4 cars on the drive way depending on car size. Note that Golf, Swimming Pools, Tennis and Boat rentals have a daily rate for use. We had a wonderful week in Big Canoe. The owner was always prompt with communication and facilitating an easy check in. He was really top notch. The house was a perfect fit for a family get together in the mountains. Plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 small children and one furry friend. After early week rain we were able to take advantage of the trails, golf, restaurant, pool and wellness center. All very well maintained.The screened porch at the house was a great way to enjoy a wonderful view and was popular. Kitchen was well stocked and the two car garage with additional refrigerator/freezer was nice to have. All bedrooms were comfortable and the priumary has a huge bathroom and closet.A great week at a wonderful house.

The house was great. Mountains from the porches were beautiful. Bathrooms were very nice, plentiful. Rooms were spacious. Only thing I could say that could have been better was bunkbeds in a couple of the rooms. Thanks so much for the great place for our family to gather at Christmas .

The house was a fantastic space for multiple families to gather. We had three separate families from three different states come together, and we all fit perfectly. The house was clean and comfortable, with amazing views and access to everything Big Canoe has to offer. We would love to book it again!

Perfect House

This was the perfect house for a large family group! There were places to have fun and be loud, spots to be cozy and enjoy the outdoors, and areas the family could be together and watch a movie. Would for sure stay again.

Annual Family Mountain Trip

We had a wonderful time at this absolutely gorgeous cabin. The cabin was very spacious for our large gathering. The whole cabin was well stocked from linens, blankets, kitchen etc.. The owner was excellent to work with ,very easy check in and out.

Wedding weekend

Long weekend for daughters wedding

This property is amazing!! So much room and plenty of amenities onsite. The porches are so relaxing and I am already wanting to go back!! Kitchen is well stocked and everything was just as described! If you are on the fence about renting this, run and do it now!! Beautiful place and we definitely be back !!

Perfect for our family

We have been going to the Big Canoe for three years now. This was the best by far. Great space and location to many activities. House was well equipped with what we needed. Owner called us while we were there to see if we needed anything to help enjoy our stay. We will be back.

Everything we expected and more!

We had our entire family of 14 stay at Black Bear Ridge. The house was beautiful, incredibly clean and beyond well stocked. The owner had an extremely organized booklet with instructions and directions for everything. He was exceptionally communicative on everything. Big Canoe was fun for all of us from ages 2 to 56! I highly recommend this cabin- it made what could be a hectic large family vacation so easy and enjoyable! Thanks Hassan!

Wonderful Second Stay at Tooms Cabin!

This was my second time staying at Tooms Cabin in Big Canoe and it did not disappoint! The house and grounds were all beautiful and true to pictures displayed. It had ample space for the 7 of us who stayed overnight and enough for a day with additional guests who visited over the weekend. Any minor issues or questions we had were quickly addressed by Hassan. I would highly recommend this home and look forward to an opportunity to visit again!

Last wish vacation

The property was beautiful especially in the sunrise and sunset. This was my dad’s last wish to have everyone together and this place did just that. It is kind of remote with Walmart being about 30 minutes away, but the IGA is only about 10-15 minutes. All the other towns are only about an hour drive. It’s such a beautiful area I would definitely make a second trip back!

Awesome gateway time

It is our second time here and we love this house. It is spacious, light and comfortable. Kitchen is so well stocked, beds are comfortable, porch has amazing view. Neighborhood has plenty to do: hiking, playgrounds, lake with rest area, ice cream shop close by. It is beautiful there during fall. The host is quick to respond. Everything was perfect. We will be back again.

Family Ladies yearly Getaway

Our 31st year for all the Ladies in our family to get away together for 4 days. The house was well stocked with all necessary items you would need daily . Very clean and an Excellent VRBO house and location. Would highly recommend this one and would go back again. The owner was extremely helpful and was always just a call away if needed . The only thing we might recommend that needs to be added to the house would be a card table and chairs. Will rate it a Five Star VRBO.

This house is amazing and has awesome mountain views from every room and porch! It is beyond spacious and clean and it nicely accommodated several generations at our family get together. The kitchen was well-appointed, the additional refrigerator in the garage was much appreciated, the bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccable, and the house was well-stocked for our stay. The screened porch was a lovely place to relax. Hassan was great! He was quick to respond, very helpful, and we really appreciated it! We highly recommend this house for a beautiful place to stay in Big Canoe!!
