    Daytona Beach Resort continues to undergo restoration and improvement projects following hurricane damage sustained in 2022. While many amenities are now open and operational, portions of the property remain in various phases of repair and construction. Guests should expect that some exterior and common areas of the resort may show signs of ongoing work during their stay.
    ⚠️ Seawall construction is currently ongoing at the resort and may create daytime construction noise, dust, equipment activity, or temporary work areas, particularly on the south side of the property. Construction schedules and activity levels may vary throughout the project.
    Our condo itself remains clean, comfortable, and fully operational, and many guests continue to enjoy the beautiful ocean views, direct beach access, and relaxing beachfront atmosphere while the resort continues its rebuilding efforts.

Overall, we had a great stay. The beach view from the balcony was absolutely amazing, even though the pool our condo overlooked was closed during our visit. The condo itself was exactly as expected and was clean for the most part. We did find a little trash left in the couch from I assume previous guests, but it wasn’t a major issue. The biggest downside for us was the parking. It was very limited and made coming and going more difficult than we anticipated. We also found it frustrating that the front desk was often unattended. Since you have to leave your ID to use a luggage cart, it made it difficult to get one when no one was available to assist.

I gave this place 2 star because it wasn't the worst, but I definitely would not stay here or recommend it to anyone I knew. We stay here in. 2020 where it was an actual resort. Now it's people who own the condos and the place itself is taken care by how much time and money people want to put into their own places. The property definitely needs attention and right 1 of the big pools are out and so is the kid pool. That is extremely unpleasant, the smell is bad and definitely that is something that should be warned in the listing. NOW ... to the actual place itself, I was not happy and I did contact the host within in being in the place less than 24hrs. The place definitely needs some deep cleaning, there is a lot of caked dust in numerous areas, vents, door jams, walls, doors, the carpet is very old and feels sticky or stiff in some areas, there was sticky stuff on the doors bathtub wasn't fully clean, . The Murphy bed was old and really dirty including the mattress cover, place with staples sticking out so we didn't use so kids didn't wouldn't get cut and I didn't want them laying on that. Beds were uncomfortable, and there is so much more. Also i got really tired of walking in the lobby or anywhere for that fact around the property at all hours smelling weed. SO 2 STARS WAS BEING NICE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK. THE HOST ALSO DOES NOT TAKE ANY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WELL.
