Set directly on the ocean in a quiet residential stretch of Daytona Beach Shores, Sand Castle offers both privacy and luxury for your next gathering of family and friends. This 8,000 square foot oceanfront home has room for everyone to spread out, with a main house, a private guest house and an oceanfront deck with steps leading down to the beach. Less than a 5 minute walk away, Frank Rendon Park features a fun playground right on the beach for the kids. Just a 7 minute walk away, The Shores Resort and Spa offers a full-service spa along with multiple restaurants and lounges. The peaceful neighborhood keeps evenings quiet, and the rest of Daytona Beach's dining and attractions are just a short drive away.

As you approach the home and pass the detached garage, you'll wind along a bricked path into a lovely bricked courtyard surrounded by lush landscaping. You'll feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders as you follow the courtyard and enter this luxurious mansion. The open floor plan lets the Atlantic Ocean greet you from the moment you walk in, with grand floor to ceiling windows lining the back of the home.

To the right of the entrance is a fun lounge space with a blue sofa and a large TV, perfect for gaming. A full bathroom sits between the lounge and the game room. The game room features fun décor, LED rope lighting along the ceiling, and a multi-functional game table that converts between pool and air hockey for hours of fun.

Walking forward from the front doors, you'll be greeted by a gorgeous open family room with a grand linen sectional, a large decorative telescope and an HD Smart TV. The family room also includes an office space overlooking the ocean and a queen sleeper sofa. To the left of the family room is a formal living room with cozy seating and ocean views, a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Adjacent to the living room is the oceanfront dining room, where a sprawling, gorgeous dining table lets the entire group dine together. The fully remodeled kitchen sits next to the dining area, with all new appliances, bar stool seating, and everything you need for cooking. The laundry room and a half bathroom are just past the kitchen. Beyond the laundry room is the first guest bedroom, with a king bed, a Smart TV and a private entrance to the bricked courtyard. This is the only bedroom on the first floor.

Near the entrance, a grand staircase leads to the second floor. On the left is the oceanfront primary suite, a retreat within a retreat with a king bed, an HD Smart TV and a sitting area. The adjoining primary bathroom has two separate vanities, a spacious walk-in shower and a large walk-in closet.

Three more guest bedrooms and a full bathroom are also on the second floor of the main house. One guest bedroom has a queen bed and a Smart TV. Another has ocean views, a Smart TV and a king bed. The last guest bedroom on this level has ocean views, a Smart TV and two sets of twin over twin bunk beds. This bunk room has glass French doors instead of a traditional bedroom door, so it's best suited for tiny travelers. The full guest bathroom on this level includes a walk-in shower.

Stroll back across the bricked courtyard and up the exterior staircase to the private guest house above the detached garage. Its outdoor balcony and sitting area look out over the main house to the ocean waves beyond. Inside, the guest house has a large living room with a queen Murphy bed and a Smart TV, a full-size, fully stocked kitchen, and a dining area. It also has two identical bedrooms, each with a king bed, a Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Grandparents have been known to seek refuge in this peaceful guest house!

Back through the bricked courtyard, an extended bricked path along the side of the home leads to your private oceanfront deck. The sprawling deck includes an outdoor dining area for oceanfront meals with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, and beach steps lead from the backyard down to the sand.

While this home has ample parking, we do not allow any trailers or recreational vehicles to be parked on-site. We can refer you to an off-site parking company upon request. Three vehicles, or the motorcycle equivalent, can park in the garage. Up to 2 additional vehicles can park in the driveway. This means guests can have up to 5 vehicles at the home, or the motorcycle equivalent.

Items of note: To reach the beach steps from the back patio, guests must walk across a sloped grassy area and then step up onto the beach steps. This may be somewhat challenging for those with limited mobility. There is also a decorative balcony on the second floor of the main house facing the ocean. It cannot be accessed because it is only decorative. We don't advertise an oceanfront balcony in the listing, but we like to make sure guests are aware since they may notice it when they arrive.

To ensure you receive the best possible cleaning experience, we do not allow Saturday departures during Spring and Summer school breaks and Bike Week. Simply enter any departure date other than Saturday in those seasons to see a quote and book online instantly.

The majority of adult guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. After your reservation is confirmed, one of our booking agents will send over our rental agreement for you to e-sign and send back. Unless you are booking on Airbnb, we will need a copy of your photo ID and the admin fee shown in your quote is the only fee never refundable in the event of a cancellation. For Airbnb guests, the cancellation policy is as shown on Airbnb and we only need a copy of your ID if your stay is 28 nights in length or longer. Please note that unless you are booking on Airbnb, even if you cancel outside of the cancellation window and receive a full refund, the "Administrative Fee" is never refundable.
