HH Suite with great views

  • Escape to our Ocean Front Hideaway. We have over 250 reviews in our family of condos here at Harbour Beach Resort (1077773, 1068010, 989194, 803441). This unit is on the North East Corner with unhindered balcony views of the fireworks launched from The Pier. Or, if you prefer, watch the Pier Fireworks from the comfort of your bed. 2 TVs. Blue Ray player. Our favorite thing is to sit on the balcony and watch the waves roll in. 2 new restaurants nearby (200 yards) LandShark Bar and Grill and Crabbys Oceanside. Hurricane Ian update: Beach access is only thru the public park next door, as our steps to the beach are not usable. The pool is open. Heated pool is operational.

    The Ocean Deck is about a 10-minute walk to the North. Beyond The Ocean Deck is The Pier showcasing Joe's Crab Shack. The outside bar on top of Joe's Crab Shack is a great place for a bite to eat and drink and take in the beauty of Daytona Beach.

    Beyond The Pier is Ocean Walk Shoppes with the Paragon Movie Theater. Within the movie theater, you can order a custom-made pizza and a craft beer from My Pi and Craft Beer Company. Take your selection into the movie theater! A great movie experience.

    To the South is the Lighthouse (access hours varies with season). Several restaurants on the inter-coastal near The Lighthouse. Close by the lighthouse is one of our favorite restaurants is "Down the Hatch". The nearby marina's offer deep-sea fishing and offshore gambling.


    *** Your security is important*** The main doors are locked at 7PM. Access to the elevators in the main lobby up until 11PM can obtained thru Westgate resort entrance (Westgate entrance on the right of the building). After 11PM, a Building Key is required to gain access to the building!!! Arriving after 11PM is okay, however, a Building key needs to be previously mailed to you.
    We have been blessed to expand. We now own 4 properties. VRBO 989194, 1068010, 1077773). Perfect for a family reunion. Booking early allows you the flexibility to pick your room. We have 2 rooms side by side on the 4th floor.

Perfect getaway

This property is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We literally had about fifteen parking spaces between us and the sand, making for great opportunities to see the sunrise/sunset/moon over the ocean when we spent downtime. Also right near the pier and accessible to all the great offerings of Daytona Beach. The host was thorough, responsive, and easy to work with. We had a great time!

Our Favorite Place to Stay

This was our second year staying in this unit and it still is the perfect place for us to spend our annual 10 day beach vacation getaway to Daytona! We absolutely love this place and will not look at staying anywhere else in the future. Mike is a FANTASTIC host and the staff that takes care of the resort as a whole does an excellent job in its upkeep. Everyone is very friendly. It is in a prime location as well to great restaurants and activities along the beach including the pier! We will continue to book this unit in the future and already looking forward to next year!

Halls Hideaway was the perfect place for our 30th anniversary. The condo was clean and well stocked. No problem with check in. Communication with Mike was spot on. Walking distance to several restaurants and beach bars. Grocery store and Dollar General nearby. The view from this corner condo is the best. The sky put on a great show for us every morning & evening with awesome sunrises and sunsets. No complaints and 5 stars on everything.

Great Stay, Felt Surrounded By Ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The design of the unit allows you to see more of the beach (corner unit) and the mirrors on the living room give the illusion of MORE beach/sky. I am a virtual worker and although I would have loved to have "just" been on vacation, I had everything I needed including great wi fi. We were very pleased with our stay and Mike was extremely responsive to all our questions.

Mike and Jens place was great. Ocean front with balcony looking over ocean. Pelicans flying over head, very cool. Nice having separate bedroom from living area. Mike response to any questions was almost immediate. Highly recommend staying here

Awesome view and great location

Great location. If you love the beach this is the place to be. Awesome to wake up to sound of the ocean. Building is a little bit older and sure could use some upgrades. Suggest to have some basic things stocked like coffee powder, sugar, creamer etc. So the guests dosent have to run out first thing in the AM to get coffee.

What a wonderful vacation!

First of all a big thank you to Mike for being such a great host. We have never had an experience in dealing with the owner of a vacation spot like Mike. He was johnny on the spot with any request we had such as letting us check in early because our flight came in around 9:30am and he didn't have anyone in the unit that day. The day we left he didn't have anyone coming in until the next day and our flight wasn't leaving to come home until 8:00pm and he told us to take our time. we were able to enjoy the beach for a couple of hours on our last day. The condo was everything we expected and was very well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. he had toilet paper shampoo, bath wash, hair dryer (brought my own but it's nice to have if you forget something) The kitchen had staples like coffee mustard mayo etc. nice so that you don't have to run to the store as soon as you get there. Beautiful view from the large sliding doors in the living room and the huge window on the side from the bedroom. We have rented many condos over the years and have never dealt with anyone as accommodating as Mike. thank you Mike, see you next year!

Absolutely enjoyable stay!

My wife and I travel to Daytona Beach each year and usually choose an oceanside hotel for the views and easy beach access. This year we decided to try a condo instead and happened upon this great property. Cliff's Notes Version: -- Excellent Views -- Clean, well-stocked property -- Great entertainment and internet amenities -- Perfect location -- Very helpful and communicative owner -- Awesome pricing! The views are EXCELLENT from from the condo. The living area has large windows and a sliding glass door that provide perfect views from it's fourth-story level. The bedroom also has a very nice angled view looking out over the beach and a bit to the north. As an added bonus, the pelicans will often fly in formation right at the window before turning very slightly and flying around the building. The 4th floor is the perfect height to watch them fly right at you. The unit was clean and well-stocked. It had plenty of towels, linens, and paper products. We enjoyed the Roku TV in the main room. If you have subscriptions to any digital services such as Netflix, Amazon Video, SlingTV, Hulu, and quite a few others, you can watch very simply and easily on the TV (in addition to the cable service provided). The ability to watch these services was particularly satisfying because the condo had great internet access. One of my pet peeves is terrible "free internet" at hotels and condos so I was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of service available at the condo. The location of the condo is excellent--only a couple minutes from International Speedway (the most central artery back to the mainland). That means you have great access to northern attractions in Ormand Beach as well as southern attractions in Daytona Beach Shores or Wilbur-By-The-Sea. As an aside, the owner was very helpful when a work project of mine caused us to have to come in late on the arrival date. The normal arrival process would not have worked and he personally made alternate arrangements and ensured that I had contact info available for any problems even though we came in very late at night. Last but not least, the pricing was better than competitive. Bang for the buck was exceptional given all the above. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Oceanfront

It was a convenient place to stay right on the ocean! Beautiful views and access to the ocean. This was the highlight for our family of 4. The room accommodations were just what we needed. Cleanliness was okay- wear and tear of the building and bathroom perhaps made it seem less clean. Bedding and linen - great! The main entry often smelled of marijuana to the point our children asked what the smell was. We understood hurricane Ian had just hit 4 days prior, but the pool was open and still had palm branches laying in the bottom of it. The owner was great to work and communicate with. We spoke prior to arriving due to the hurricane and he was upfront with us regarding what to expect around the area and building as a result.

Perfect Place to Stay for a Couple's Getaway!

Absolutely loved our 10 day stay at Mike and Janie's place! Perfect location on the beach and plenty of space for a couple looking to relax in comfort at a very reasonable price! Very clean and homey! The ocean front view provided us the perfect views of the sun rising/setting as well as watching the fireworks on Saturdays at the pier. There is also a table and chairs that you can eat on the balcony. The space was plentiful: we loved how the bedroom was separate from the living room/kitchen and had a comfortable king size bed. The living room has two couches to relax on and their television has plenty of channels/options to choose from. The kitchen had all of the amenities needed if you feel like eating at home (although you are in a perfect location to walk or drive a short distance to eat). The shower had great water pressure and temperature. I took advantage of the hotel's exercise room as well as we both loved the heated pool and the deck area off the beach. All of the staff at the hotel was friendly! If you have questions or concerns, Mike is very easy to get a hold of and he responds quickly! This was our fifth year vacationing to Daytona and this was by far our best place we have stayed. It had everything we were looking for and more! We plan on staying here in the future (if dates work out) and recommend it to all! Thank you Mike and Janie!

My experience was great, the condo is in a great area, walking distance to many restaurants, it was enough parking, pool very nice, beach access from pool area, we could see fireworks from our bed two nights in a row. My daughter is 9 and she loved every moment of our stay. The only issue I had was the refrigerator when we first got there is was a strong fish smell in it. I’m not sure if the guest before us went fishing or not but the smell was really strong to the point I went to Walmart bought cleaning products and cleaned it out. After I did that everything went so smooth. I really enjoyed this property, the view is amazing!!

Our New Favorite Location!

The only way for our stay to have been easier, smoother, better is if we owned the property! Mike responded to my messages super quickly. Check in was simple. Everything was perfect! The condo was tastefully decorated and the view....AMAZING! The best view from a condo that we have stayed at in Daytona. Great condo and great owners!
