Often quoted as "The Real Florida", this artsy and historic town offers many fresh clear water springs for kayaking and manatee viewing. The perfect place for a couple and also offers a comfortable fold out couch for 1-2 extra guests. Wonderful outdoor patio and all the comforts of home! Great stay at a clean and historic home. It was the perfect size for a weekend stay and very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Front porch was a nice spot in the mornings. If in town again, we would stay again!

Everything about the Crowned Cottage is wonderful!

The Crowned Cottage was an amazing place to stay. I am picky about cleanliness; this cottage is super clean! We enjoyed ourselves and everything about the place. We were very comfortable staying in this sweet home. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We would love to stay here again.

Really enjoyed our time at this lovely cottage. Karen has done a wonderful job making the cottage a warm inviting home but with elegance. Great location close to town. Covered front porch was perfect for morning coffee. Appreciated the snacks after a long drive, you really thought of everything.

Gem of a place

What a unique experience to enjoy the "Crowned Cottage". It was very charming, cozy, and restful. It is very clean and lots of options to enjoy the outside areas. We had great communication with the owner. The place is very centralized and easy to walk to several places of importance. It is a short drive to downtown but so easy. Highly recommend this as a great base to enjoy the many springs and trails of this area.

Adorable cottage

This property was extremely adorable! It's a shame or was just me there, because my wife would have loved it. It's very cozy and romantic and would be for a couples getaway. Karen, the owner, was very kind as well and went above and beyond for me. If you're looking to stay in the area, I highly recommend this property!

Everything was wonderful at this cozy property. The house and its enchanting decor are sublime, and spic and span! Whatever we needed was well provided for; the host has thought of every detail. The Cottage is very nice. It is well cared for and had all the amenities you could need for a short stay. It is also nicely furnished and decorated (we've been in ones that are so cluttered that you can barely move - this was not the case here. It was very stylish and comfortable). It is about 1/2 a mile from the main street area of shops and restaurants for an easy drive or walk. It is only a block or so from Stetson which would make it very convenient if that is the reason for the visit.

Property is great. Perfect for a couple or couple with one or two children. I say this because the bathroom is an on suite so if someone is sleeping on the fold out, they have to go through the master bedroom. Just something to be aware of.

Perfect Cottage getaway!

The Crown Cottage is amazing. Karen has done a great job making it unique but comfortable. The bed was so great and the furnishing was perfect for our stay. My husband and I came to visit with our daughter and her boyfriend. It was so comfortable to have them over for coffee on the porch and games at the table. Downtown DeLand and Stetson University is walking distance. The neighborhood was family oriented and safe. It is truly a gem. Thanks Karen having such a great place to stay available.

Delightful DeLand Crowned Cottage

This was our 2nd time renting this property and it’s just the perfect place!! It feels like home. You can just sense that this place is the owner’s “ Happy Place”. It oozes charm and character. The front covered porch is a great place to read, drink a glass of wine or just relax. The large livingroom/dining room is bright and airy. The king bed is super comfortable. There’s a washer/dryer on site. If you are ever in DeLand this is THE place to stay at!!! I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. The Crowned Cottage is a ROYAL gem!
