Great little place to stay
We had a great Easter holiday at the place. The Lodge was lovely, nice and tidy and perfect for our family. The rest of the place was great, with lots of things for adults and kids to do. There's great long walks by the sea that are just down the road, as well as some good pubs with great food.

Short break with grandchildren
A slightly retro but excellent break. Thoughtfully equipped, torches and tissues, and very clean. Grandsons so enjoyed the whole stay as did we. Stairs are steep but manageable. Wifi challenging as unit needed charging which took a while but resoved eventually by techy grandchild. Pool excellent plus other facilities. May well repeat as a short break.

Perfect Holiday Cottage
The cottage is in a pretty holiday park just a few minutes walk from the beach and a couple of nice pubs. Easily accommodated our family of four with a whole bedroom to spare. The stairs are a bit tight, but manageable. A perfect launching point to explore the area or just relax by the cottage.

Cantii Way
Cosy. Well equipped. Nice location near beach and pubs. Was doing the Cantii Way cycle route so was just off route therefore an ideal stop.

We stayed at Badger’s retreat for 2 nights during Feb half term. The accommodation was as described and the beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool on site and also the freedom to go down to the table tennis without an adult (age 10&12) as the site felt very safe. We visited Deal & Dover castle which were both interesting. We also enjoyed a dinner at the Rising Sun. The food was excellent and the kids enjoyed the skittles. Overall a great place for families.

A truly blissful time in Badger Retreat
First of all Sheila made the experience so easy and relaxing for us. We had a fantastic time and woke to beautiful sunshine and had a lovely stroll to the beach and the white cliffs, which looked like they’d be recently painted they were shining so bright. The badger retreat is sublime and so beautiful to stay in. Big love to Sheila x

It was quite which we loved.
The stairs are very steep so a friend slipped down them on the first day which caused us anxiety for the rest of our stay. Apart from that all was fine.

I am so sorry to hear that one of your party had trouble with the stairs. It is shown in the chalet description about the steep stairs but I will make it more prominent which I hope will help in the future.

Lovely experience
The property is delightful. The park is well kept and so quiet and peaceful. Plenty to do for the kids including pool and mini golf. The property has everything you need for a comfortable break including towels provided which was very handy. My only complaint is the kitchen has small pans/oven trays which made it harder to feed 5. However we coped and it would not put me off starting again. We had a fabulous week in Badgers retreat and Kingsdown!

Lovely stay!
We had a lovely time here, its a great place with beautiful surroundings and lots and lots to do. We were 2 adults and 2 toddlers and it was perfect little place to stay for our getaway. Our only negative was, it doesn't have free wifi as advertised, it doesn't work so you have to pay which was disappointing. However, we'd definitely stay again!

Weekend break
Excellent chalet on a peaceful site with lots of space for the kids to run around. Near enough to walk on the seafront to Deal and back with a few pubs on route. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint is the sign post at the site entrance could be a bit more visible.

Lovely cottage with perfect location
We had a lovely stay, the beach is super close by and the holiday village had lots of activities going on! The cottage was very clean and we were impressed with the well equipped kitchen. Would recommend!

Great for a family break away. Beach really nearby with a pub right on the beach. We were out exploring most days but spent early evenings at the local beach which the kids loved. Good communication from property manager and clear information folder and n the home to tell us everything we needed. Nice quiet location with plenty to do on site for the kids.

The "A" chalet. 😊
The property is really clean and tidy, has got everything we ever needed. Effective communication with the host. The location is perfect. Approx 10 minute walk to the seaside, less than 10 minute drive to the main town area and few miles drive to Dover castle! Kingsdown is a beatiful little place of peace and quiet for those needing to rejuvenate. G0od for those with little ones and teenage kids as well.

Perfect little place for a relaxing family holiday
Sheila was fantastic from the start - quick to communicate and proving lots of useful info. The chalet itself is just lovely - very clean with everything we needed for a few days away. The beds were comfy and the kids loved their little twin room upstairs too. The holiday park itself is lovely, stones throw from the pebble beach and with a great little play area, crazy golf, swimming pool and other sports on site. We were surprised at how quiet it was and would love to return as it really was a lovely, relaxing break. Thanks again Sheila!

The club house could of been open and the swimming pool but over all very clean and tidy site
Good Communication with the owner but the lady on reception did not seem to enjoy doing g her job the young girl on reception was helpful

Cosy, comfortable chalet
We had a fantastic time exploring this fascinating area from our cosy chalet in Kingsdown Park, so close to the beach and with mini golf, tennis, playground and wonderful indoor pool. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful when required. One suggestion: a place for dirty shoes on the veranda!

Staycation
We had a great stay. The property has everything you’d need and beach is just few minutes away. A little difficult to get around if you don’t have a car but plenty of cabs and a local bus to choose from. Overall very relaxing!

Pretty little lodge
Perfect lodge in a lovely part of Deal over looking the sea. 10 mins to the beach. Great base to explore some of the kent coast. The owner was lovely and easy to get hold of for a minor issue with the door. Would recommend x

Fabulous Stay
Stayed here for a week with the family. Had our own private swimming session in the lovely refurbished pool enjoyed the tennis courts and table tennis. The park is well kept and clean. The "triangle house" as my son calls them was the perfect place to stay. Furbished for all our needs too and to a great standard too. Thank you.

I am very happy to share my little piece of paradise at Kingsdown Park. The variety of local walks along the coast or cliff tops are quite delightful and should there be any questions or problems I am only a ‘phone call away.

Central for sightseeing trips
The property was adequately stocked to meet the needs for our stay. We felt at home and comfortable. The stairs could be a problem for anyone with mobility difficulties. Overall we enjoyed our time there.And the layout and tranquility of the park .

Nice authentic Danish small house
Nice park mostly near the sea. Great for walking the White Cliffs and visiting the Kent area. Close to Walmer and Dover Castle. Behind our little house we where visited by a couple of foxes. We really enjoyed our stay. On the park it is very nice for kids under 13.

Sehr ruhiges und gemütliches Frienhaus. Ich würde es nochmal buchen.
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Außer vielleicht einem großen Topf, aber das konnten wir mit dem vorhandenen Kochgeschirr gut improvisieren. Die Ganze Ferienanlage ist super schön und ganz ruhig. Außer Vogelgezwitscher und das Rauchen des Windes in den Bäumen hört man fast nichts. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr sauber und groß genug um Bahnen zu schwimmen. Der Tennisplatz ist auch sehr gepflegt. Für Familien mit etwas größeren Kindern ist die Anlage perfekt. Dieses Haus ist vielleicht nicht optimal für Kleinkinder, da sich mitten im Wohnbereich eine offene und recht steile Treppe befindet. Alles in allem würde ich das Haus definitiv weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Kurzaufenthalt
Alles auf kleinem Raum clever untergebracht. Sauber, ruhig und gut nutzbar bis auf die Treppe nach oben. Betten gut, Parkplatz geht auch. Eine gute Unterkunft für ein paar Tage. Die Treppe ist allerdings nicht geeignet für Menschen die nicht ganz sicher zu Fuss sind. Und der Strand ist so wie vielerorts in England - Korngröße 20/50 mm. Empfehlenswert.

My guests were very understanding when I had problems with a curtain rail and left the property just as they found it and I would welcome them back.
