"We had a lovely stay at The Rutland Arms Hotel. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Bakewell and ideal for exploring the town and surrounding Peak District. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and healthy ingredients. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again"

"The apartment was excellent, just a couple of things The wife said a mirror in the bedroom would be good , the door in bedrooms could maybe have hooks on them , the hinges on the doors would benefit from a bit of WD40 sprayed on them (squeaks) and the sign out side front bedroom needs a bit of grease on it .Small things didn't spoil our stay and the food in the pub great nothing was to much trouble"

Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you"

From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its storybook setting, surrounded by rolling Hills, wildflowers, and the soft sound of the River Wye. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, blending, rustic character with thoughtful modern touches. You can tell every detail from the cozy fireplace to the well stocked kitchen was arranged with care.We enjoyed coffee in the garden out front every morning. It was so peaceful. We didn’t want to leave the property. Staying at Rose cottage was everything we hoped for and more. A special mention to the owners who are in incredibly warm, responsive and easy to reach whenever we had a question. They made us feel genuinely welcome and it was clear. They truly care about their guest experience."
