"We were only there for a short time, but we had a great time walking down to the light house. It was a short ride into St Andrews where we were able to find a boat to see a whale and the amazing bay of Fundy. We were very happy and would do it again the next time we go to the maritimes."

"We enjoyed our stay and the host was very kind and responsive to all my questions. The house was in good shape and well-appointed. The only disappointment was the metal staircase going down to the beach, It is in such bad shape that its unsafe to use - you have to use it at your own risk - a few steps were almost entirely rusted through. The information for the place emphasized the lovely beach area, so we were expecting to have safe access to it. Other than the beach access issue, I would gladly recommend this VRBO to anyone."

"Place is a bit dingy - stale smell in halls (but, hey, it's an old historic hotel). Price a bit high for quality - friend's air conditioner held up by wooden boards. Lots of raucous drinking in bar below (but not rowdy or unpleasant). However, right downtown - next to fabulous restaurants - and possibly the friendliest, kindest staff we've ever encountered."
