"The location was great! Walking distance from many restaurants and music venues. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I really could say was the noise from the street in the early morning, but that had already been mentioned prior to my stay and they did provide ear plugs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would go back again."

"My wife and I planned a last-minute and much-needed getaway. To our surprise, we found this GREAT PROPERTY in our backyard! The rustic old house was remolded to a nice modern look. We are very familiar with the area and the town that this home is in, but we never knew that the town itself offered such very nice lodging, or lodging in general. There are hotels available outside of this downtown area, but you need to drive 15-30 minutes away. This property being in the middle of the downtown area...

"We had an amazing weekend stay at the Kildahl House while visiting family in the Chicago area. The house was exactly as described - clean, private, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We plan to stay again next time we are in town visiting family. This house is 100% better than staying at a hotel."

"I say mostly good because I had to by dishwashing detergent to be able to use dishes/wash dishes. The WiFi cut out on day 8 and I had no use of the TV and only had internet through my phone and IPAD. Sitting area furniture Made of toothpicks. So not great. On the plus side great location and roomy studio, full kitchen with gas stove. Great bathtub. A really nice place in a nice location."

"WARNING: THEY DON'T OFFER PARKING!. We arrived around Midnight and were told to park 5 minutes away / and use an App to find a parking spot DESPITE empty parking spaces on the property. They will tow you and fine you $200 if you park on the property, again, DESPITE having many empty parking spaces. "

"Home is exactly as listed and pictures are accurate for a peaceful getaway. Great view and quiet. Very clean, comfy bed. Owner was kind enough to mail back an item I had left behind."
