"Did not use the gym or eat the breakfast, but the breakfast did look good with a nice variety and several choices. The room and overall hotel were very clean. The staff did miss a regular cleaning (every other day) and I was out of something, but I requested it at the front desk and they followed up with me the following day to ensure that cleaning was done. We were allowed to check in very early without an advance request which was wonderful! Some hotels smell musty, but all the hallways, common areas and even the elevators were clean and smelled fresh. You can’t even smell the chlorine from the pool. There was a neat food court directly out the front doors of the hotel with a lot of fast food choices which was very convenient. Great location in the medical district. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Chicago. "

"The owners recently remodeled. I don't know what it was like before, but now it is very clean and spare. Communication is excellent. I was able to reach people on the telephone. What a miracle! Remember to bring a lock for the locker, if you're sharing a room with someone. I did not, so I paid $10 for a lock. I should have brought one from home. :-( Next time I might not share a room. Not because anybody was problematic, but because I have special needs and I think it's just easier if I'm by myself. I hope they keep it as clean in the future as it was this weekend. "
