"The views alone are worth the stay! It feels wonderfully tucked away and peaceful, but you're only about 15 minutes from town, with lots of cute shops, restaurants, and anything else you might need. The house is incredibly spacious, making it perfect for larger groups, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in at a rental. The bedding was cozy, there were plenty of towels for everyone, and we appreciated having so much room to spread out. The host lives on the property, is responsive, and clearly works hard to make sure guests have everything they need and that their stay goes smoothly.It's worth remembering that this is a home from the 1700s, so it comes with all the charm - and a few of the quirks- you'd expect from a house of that age. The floors are uneven and because it's an old home in the countryside, we saw the occasional spider and a few small bugs. The house felt lived-in rather than pristine, which was fitting for a historic farmhouse.Our dogs absolutely loved exploring the property and had a wonderful time. If you're bringing dogs, just be aware that while there is a fenced yard, it isn't completely secure, so you'll want to keep an eye on adventurous pups.If you appreciate historic homes and can embrace their imperfections, this is a unique and memorable place to stay."

"Over the 4th of July weekend, some days breakfast was not served; I should have been told in advance. Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. Customers need to be forewarned and given a choice."

"We had a great time here while attending a music festival. The home very comfortably accommodated my husband and I, my in-laws, our son, and 2 friends. The hot tub was excellent and so were the recommendations the host left. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking!"

"The Parsonage was family-friendly and spacious for our family of 8. Hindell was friendly, accommodating, responsive, great host. The backyard was a large size for activities, as well as the living and dining room. The kitchen was fully stocked. The washer dryer was a great addition. The rooms were spacious, beds are comfortable. Our family looks forward to staying here again, especially so close to the whitewater rafting location."
