"Stay at this hotel often, usually everything is perfect and I enjoy staying here often. This time on arrival, there seemed to be an odd smell in the corridor whe getting out the elevator, when I entered the room there was sliders in the bottom of the toilet and half a loo roll like it had been used and not cleaned. The rest of the room was clean as usual. When I returned back on the second day, the toilet was ‘running’, like the system was filling up with water but it never stopped. Had to flush the toilet a few times to clear. Think this was an off chance as I’ve never had it before- would stay again but disappointed with this stay."

"Small, cramped characterless chalet room looking out onto pub beer garden with associated noise for just short of £150 per night with not even a breakfast thrown in I would describe as very poor value indeed. 1/10"

"Highly recomended these converted stables with a modern revamp. Room and bathroom were lovely and clean aside from an odd cobweb. Parking was perfect directly outside our accommodation. Rooms are oppopsite the bar and restaurant. The inn has lots of character and history. Only saw one member of staff the whole time who was quiet but helpful. Not having a reception area meant sometimes he was hard to find. Daily housekeepibg with drink sachets refilled. Our room also had a fridge in the wardrobe. We had a radiator so easy to keep warm if needed. Theres a play area on site and outdoor seating will be nice in the summer. Perfect loalcation to expore cambridge. Much quieter than the city with 3 other pubs near by as well as a country park, close to park and ride - 15 min walk and £3 bus or £13 for a taxi to central Cambrige."

"Parking is in a taxi rank. The property is unsecured The room was dirty. Bathroom was disgusting & unhygienic. Broken shower with no amenities. Stairs and corridor were covered in dirt and debris, hadn’t ever seen a vacuum cleaner. Requested cleaning but it wasn’t much better. The manager couldn’t really see what the problem was. Couldn’t stay there."

"Lovely tucked away dog friendly accommodation in a pleasant village location. The annexe was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Booked this on the day due to being let down with our previous booking. Michelle and Mark were very helpful and saved our trip. Would definitely recommend. "
