recently had a lovely stay at the Leonardo Hotel in Derby, and I honestly can’t praise it enough ✨ From the moment I arrived, everything just felt right – comfortable rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and a great location right in the heart of the city. It was the perfect base to relax and unwind after a busy day. Lonely Traveler Productions thought it was absolutely brilliant – a truly marvellous place to stay and one we’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Derby. Comfortable, convenient, and excellent value, it really ticks all the boxes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time here, and a single traveller for one night. Straight forward drive in from the north and parking at the hotel was, as mentioned in the hotel information, limited. The staff were helpful and dealt quickly with my check in and out. The room was clean, and had just what is needed. My room on the fifth floor gave a good view of the city. It’s close to the main shopping area and attractions, so a quick walk in. I would use this hotel again if visiting Derby.

Clean room, nice bed. Fridge was a bonus. We didn’t eat or drink at the property as we were at a gig close by. Executive room benefits gave us a late check out which was nice for a Sunday.

Conveniently located hotel in the heart of Derby, it was everything you would expect from a Leonardo hotel. Parking was limited but there was a cheap and secure alternative across the road on Chapel Street

The room didnt look like it was an executive room. There was no water and no fridge and there were bits left in the bath which I cleaned away. Some of the gym equipment was broken. One positive was that the staff were very friendly. Probably wouldnt go back sadly!

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Leonardo Hotel and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a good-quality bed that made it easy to get a proper night’s sleep. Everything was spotless, and the facilities were exactly what I needed for a relaxed and stress-free stay. The bathroom was clean and well laid out, with good water pressure and plenty of towels. The staff deserve a special mention – friendly, professional, and always happy to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which I really appreciated. This stay was part of a working trip for Lonely Traveler Productions, a media company, and the hotel provided an ideal base. The calm environment, reliable facilities, and professional service made it easy to relax after a busy day and stay focused on work. Overall, the Leonardo Hotel offered excellent value for money, comfort, and service. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it for both leisure and business travellers.

Good Hotel

Arrived early and managed to find a park slot in the hotel car park, although the parking bays are tight for larger cars/SUV's. Greeted on reception with a smile and given keys to our room (Executive). The room was very good and exceeded our expectations. Drinks vouchers received at check in were very welcome. Overall a very nice stay in a city centre hotel.

We were only there for one night but staff were very helpful and even relocated us to a walkin shower room as our first choice only had a bath hotel was clean and room facilities ok although breakfast was extra but was well presented and staff friendly would stay there again as town centre is only across the road
