Lovely apartment

Apartment was large, clean and really comfy, sofa and bed. Kitchen was great had everything you could need and a little coffee/tea station with biscuits that were left for guests which was a really nice touch for an apartment. Felt safe in the locked gates and car was parked outside the window.

The apartment was clean and tidy, good communication from the property management company, it was a little noisy, being apartments you could hear people coming in at 2am, also when other apartments were running showers or flushing the loo. Apart from that is was a good location.

Really didn’t know what to expect before we arrived, but there was lots of communication beforehand and check in went without a hitch. I was really impressed with the size of the apartment and all the amenities: fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes hangers, etc. It was nice and quiet, the beds were comfy and there was a Sainsburys next door to stock up. There was even a park nearby I could take my son to.

Only stay there two nights at most

Overall, the experience was average. I was expecting an email 24 hours before our stay, so had to call to prompt a text. When we got there, it wasn't obvious that the number to open the gate was automated, so i was trying to leave a mesaage. The apartment was on the top floor with no lift so it was fortunate that we had no special access needs. The temperature was very high and the thermostat seemed to have no effect. The shower was a bit weak, although the water was hot. There were no bins in the rooms apart from the main bathroom, and the sink plug was missing. As it was a mixed apartment block, there were residents as well as guests, some of whom were very noisy, including a backfiring car which woke our daughter up. The apartment suited our needs for two nights, but i wouldn't stay there again.

Pleasant apartment - but shower needs attention

Instead of the promised e-mail giving access details 24 hours in advance, my wife received a text only a few hours beforehand. Fortunately she checked her phone - otherwise we would not have been able to get in. The apartment was in a fairly convenient location. Having 2 bathrooms was an unexpected bonus. However, the shower in the en-site was very sensitive, and so difficult to get the right temperature. Also that shower head was faulty and splashed water everywhere. The door to the en suite scraped on the floor - not possible to open quietly in the middle of the night! Only one half of the toaster worked. Despite those niggles the apartment was clean and reasonably comfortable and pleasant.

The property location is good with secure entry and parking. The only issue with the apartment I had was that it was quite a strong smell at first in one of the bedrooms. This cleared after a day or so with the windows open. Otherwise, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable.
