"Good, convenient location in Downtown. Hotel needs a major refurbishment. Ancient AC/Heat unit could only groan and look filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't close, warped, and toilet seat broken. Ceiling of bathroom/microwave cracked with peeling paint and paint chips on the floor. Door to room was not very secure. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were good. "It was a quick.overnite trip. We were going to.a.music.show by some friends.of ours It was 2.blocks away. We planned on walking to it. My wife is using a walker so location & proximity were very important to us. We had stayed here several times before. We love this Hampton. Everyone is always nice & we like the Free.breakfast "
