"Staff were extremely pleasant. At check in there was some difficulty with finding my pre-paid reservation as apparently, they have been experiencing issues with the third-party sites. The property just doesn't appear to be well maintained. The doors to the hotel rooms look rough. There were handprints all over the door locks that hadn't been cleaned. One of the elevators was out of order (it has been my last two visits to this hotel as well). I felt like the room had bugs the night I stayed in it but figured it was just me. The next morning, I saw a flea. I did report this to the front desk attendant when I checked out. She didn't seem shocked and wrote my room number on a piece of paper with other room numbers for maintenance to check."

"Everything was great for the most part. Only a couple of things seemed off. 1. The bathroom exhaust fan comes on when anyone enters and is rather loud. 2. The bathroom light also comes on when anyone enters, not good when others may be trying to sleep. 3. The shower floor gets rather slick and someone could easily slip. 4. For a new facility the room A/C seemed rather loud. "

"We got what we came for: A lovely and somewhat remote retreat looking(literally) over the Current River with a deck and a fire pit with comfortable beds, hot water, and enough kitchen gear to prepare meals. You can even do some light fishing from the old boat ramp but more to pass the time than get serious. This would be an amazing place for a family to set up as a Basecamp for a floating adventure.We were just two old dudes catiching up and hitting rhe river and it was more than we needed but we loved it."

"Staff is very rude,especially the head maintenance woman. She proceeded to yell at me for having the door open to the pool room yet she allowed one of her friends from Grandin to sneak in and use it the night before. I guess if u enjoy being yelled at by a grown adult for leaving a door open that doesnt have any signs stating it cannot be left open then feel free to get a hotel here."

"Loved the view and being close to the river. Neighbors were very pleasant. Enjoyed our stay very much. Easy check-in, great communication. The town had some great options for dining. Great atmosphere. "

"This place was perfect! It had everything you could want from snack basket, coffee, firewood and smores ingredients, all the way down to spare tooth brushes. The cabin is beautiful and the location was absolutely gorgeous! The host was quick to respond to messages, answered any question we had and was so nice. I'm hoping to visit again!"
