"VERY clean property. All as advertised, just note that Casa Iguana is the apartment above the second house at the back of the property. Very nice owners, they leave on the ground floor below and are full of “spot on” advices for activities in the region. Amazing howler monkeys came to eat the papaya tree leaves in front of our balcony, such a stunning experience. Proximity to Samara beach and the small but quiet patio over the natural reserve are definitely the highlights of this rental!"

"Excellent location"

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. Walking to the beach is possible, but can be a bit hard for little ones up to 4 years old (especially considering the heat). Go to...

"The property and bungalow are amazing! We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, relaxing by the pool, and the short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We comfortably fit our family (2 adults, 3 kids) in the Tranquilo Bungalow and appreciated the clean, well decorated indoor and outdoor living space. Leah was a kind, attentive host. "Great location at Samara. We had booked a room with balcony looking out to the street not realizing it’s a busy street. We got upgraded to a bigger room with pool view without any request. We appreciated that very much as e were tired that day. The ac in the room worked excellent, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Parking is across the street. We only stayed one night so did not get the a chance to try the restaurant, which looked great but can’t actually rate as we decided to try another restaurant in the town. "

"The room was spacious and comfortable. We liked the bathroom and the balcony, too. The views from our balcony and even more from the restaurant are spectacular. The greatest negative is access: there is really no good way to get there without traversing some really terrible roads, and when the road improves you have to turn off onto an access road that is around 1.5 km long and as badly rutted as any of them. Fortunately, the restaurant is rather good, because there is no way we would have ventured on that road after dark. "

Azura Beach Resort - All Inclusive - Adults Only

"Absolutely loved this resort! It’s beautiful! Swim out room was worth the extra cost! We rented a car a drive there, took a while to get there, and the road is a bit sketchy to drive at night, but it was cheaper that scheduling a ride. Takes about 2-3 hours from Liberia depending on traffic. We will be back though. It was so relaxing and the cocktails were delicious! Just go!"

"Gorgeous, isolated place with friendly staff and easy access to beautiful beaches. Prepare yourself for the drive in, which is on a dirt road with lots of holes. If you rent a car, get the insurance. Lots of restaurants nearby you can drive to or catch one of their mini-taxis. The free breakfast is delicious, and the views are awesome. The hotel design and architecture are definitely very different and fun. "
