"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Luna Azul was the perfect base of operations for our vacation. We absolutely loved the remote and peaceful atmosphere, and especially the incredible views. Days spent at the house around the pool were a great way to relax and unwind. The location was also ideal for exploring the Nicoya peninsula. We enjoyed a coffee plantation tour, horseback riding, surfing at several of the nearby beaches, and touring the small beach towns. "This property was absolutely amazing and the pictures do not do it any justice. Prepare to feel luxurious from the look and ambiance to the amenities offered. It is located in the middle of the jungle so the connection to the wilderness was closer than expected and very free so expect to freely see them roam. The staff were amazing and very patient!! They accommodated and resolved any issue that transpired and were so friendly and welcoming. From the owner, to the waiters and bartender to the other circulating staff members; they practically became family! This establishment is a huge 10 out of 10 for me and highly suggested so book early because they do tend to fill up fast. "
