"Weekend away. Clean, comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet with many options each morning. Coffee/tea and cookies available all afternoon. Saturday evening there was a fun cereal bar set up in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. Only concern we had was A/C unit was a bit loud and rattling. Such a perfect location for walking to restaurants/shops. Mini golf on property was closed due to season. "

"I’m writing a 5 star review because they went the extra mile. I arrived with my family after a long drive at 1am. Their check in was closed and no staff was present. I was stressing out that I wouldn’t be able to check in to my room and my family would spend the night in the car. However when I arrived I found at the reception an envelope with my name on it and my room keys inside. We got to sleep on a bed after a long nights drive! Thank you for being considerate in that way!"

"It was the off season. It was less used meaning somethings might be really good others might not be as good. I just needed to get away for a little while. We enjoyed it and the staff at the hotel was really nice to us."

"Great place to spend a night or two. Hotel is under renovations and redecorating so have to forgive some wallpaper peeling and plastic hung . Overall, we were comfortable and safe . Staff are truly wonderful down to Leslie in the breakfast area . He is a champion caring for us . Will stay again . "

"Well maintained historical property with wonderful amenities and dining options. Very clean, professional and friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The included buffet breakfast was extensive and pantries with food/beverage options very accessible. Our 1st stay and we will return."
