"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. "I’m not deducting a star for the rather unpleasant member of staff in the bar last night (Sunday 10.45pm ) However, it’s worth mentioning as management need to stub it out before it affects ratings. Unhelpful, unpleasant and came across as quite rude. It’s a shame as one of the duty managers made our drinks the previous evening and he was friendly and helpful throughout our interaction with him. The cocktail he made me was excellent. One of the best I’ve had. The hotel is lovely and well located, albeit parking is a nightmare. By all means park outside to offload passengers and luggage - you’ve got a maximum of 20 mins. You need to either park in the public car park 100yds away (chargeable) or at the Glasshouse underground car park (€12 per night) located nearby. The hotel has a few spaces but they’re always taken. I would assume by the guests from high end rooms. Our basic room was nice but a bit small and the shower cubicle was really tiny. All that said, we enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel was everything we expected. It was very quiet at night even though there were two weddings going on. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing offering all you wanted to eat and the manager and assistant manager going around making sure everyone was happy. What can I say about the spa and pools. They were spectacular and we can't wait to go back and bring our family with us. Therese Stewart"

"Everything really clean. Comfortable bed and staff ultra friendly. Breakfast was great. Good family hotel. Only downside was lighting in the bedroom. Could have done with bedside lamp switch nearer to the bed and more central lighting in the room. Otherwise a great place to stay"
