"This was a fun property to stay at. It was clean and felt safe and was easy to get to. There are directions for the lock next to the door, which I didn’t see at first but were helpful once I found them. There were a few different heaters which were needed to get the space warm. The water was hot once I let it run for a minute. I would stay here again."

"This lodge is such a relic from the past which adds to the serene landscape right out your room window. Unbelievable older retro rooms in the best condition than I could imagine, being the age of the motel and PNW moisture. It’s like stepping back in time and leaving the busy world in which we live in hundreds of years away. I will definitely return again for future visits and recommend this wonderful lodge to many others. Prime location for Olympic NP beaches, just a few steps to nature...

"For the price, the place was good. Lobby smelled of waffles all the time from breakfast, definitely didn't complain about that! Breakfast had good options. Beds and pillows quite firm. No AC which was okay for us, we just kept patio door open with screen door. The view from the patio was worth it! Mountains and water/marina view. Surprisingly didn't smell fishy either. Felt safe in the location and was close to everything you needed."

"I always rely on reviews to choose my stays, so I always want to be helpful to others. This property was very nice and secluded. It has two lower units and one upper unit. Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. While it was lovely, we had no views or windows except for the fenced in tiny deck. The room was lovely, but dark and claustrophobic. If you want a romantic...

"We stayed here years ago when it was quite dated, and now it’s been recently renovated. Great updates, our room was modern and very clean. Wonderful oceanfront room with a very comfortable bed. There is a sign at the front desk saying the property is still undergoing renovations but we didn’t see any signs of construction. Maybe check that you’re staying in a renovated room. Great hotel, great location that’s easily walkable into the main drag of town and ferry terminal. We plan to stay there next time we visit. "
