"Breakfast was good, no one checking pool, kids and people ran wild"

"The hotel was in a nice location, room where nice and clean but kinda small. Had to go to the third floor for ice because the ice machine was out on the 2nd floor. But overall the stay was good."

"Breakfast was good, delicious waffles and coffee. The pool was way too hot, dirty and no towels. The kids didn’t want to play longer than 20 minutes in the pool. The room was ok, the air conditioner was very loud. We got locked out of our room at 9am the day of checkout. The elevator broke down. Staff was nice, but I will not be back. "

"The breakfast was wonderful! The best continental breakfast we’ve ever had. The parking was easy and accessible and the staff was great. I wish the pool heater would have been working so the pool wouldn’t have been so frigid, but all in all it was a very good experience and very fairly priced. "

"Hotel was clean and had a nice lobby. The food and drinks at the bar/restaurant were very good. The suite was great for me and my husband who goes to bed much earlier than me. The bed was very comfortable. However, some of the finishes in the suite definitely needed attention, i.e. scratched wood trim and was a bit dated. But, the real issue was the water pressure, it was terrible and we had to shower under just a stream. Wasn’t what I was expecting from DoubleTree. We were only there for one night so we managed, but if it had been any longer I would have asked to be moved."

"I love staying at this hotel for the ambience and the quietness of the surrounding area. The lake/pond and walking trails make the lodge feel miles & miles away from the highway. "
