"This resort looks beautiful and feels like a brand‑new property, but unfortunately the plumbing issues really affected our stay.
We had a gorgeous oceanfront room, but the toilet in the room above us leaked and left our bathroom and living room in terrible condition. We weren’t moved to another room until around 10 PM. The second room also had water dripping from the ceiling directly above the toilet. At that point, we didn’t want to go through the hassle of packing everything up again late at night, so we just put a towel over our heads whenever we needed to use the bathroom for the rest of the trip.
The food was another disappointment. It was the same items every day, and the quality wasn’t great. Even the public restroom on the ground floor had a leaking ceiling — the ceiling actually collapsed on the second day and stayed that way for the rest of our stay.
On the positive side, the beach is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were consistently friendly and kind. There’s a lot of potential here, and I can see this becoming an amazing resort once they fix the major maintenance issues. Unfortunately, we just had an unlucky experience this time.
