"First rate right from the start. The complimentary airport shuttle was very easy and convenient to and from the Hotel Schipol. Check in at the hotel was friendly and quick. It is a big complex, like a resort with a resort feel. There is a fitness centre and good sized swimming pool. Also available for rental are e-bikes, which we took advantage of to spend a day cycling around Westeinderplassen (West End Lakes) by Aalsmeer and through the neighbouring countryside. A very nice ride on the e-bikes. The room was clean and modern, although the bathroom could have been more inviting had it been in its own closed off area, rather than just a frosted glass door closing off the rather cramped space it occupied by the side of the room. Other than that, the room was very nice. The staff at the front desk, and in the restaurant and breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. The meals…what to say. They were very, VERY good. The quality, and quantity, of the food in the evening dining area was excellent. The serving staff was exceptional, answering questions and providing helpful menu suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very special. So many choices and so tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an array of fine food at a breakfast buffet. Very good. Overall the choice to stay at the Hotel Schipol was an excellent decision."

"I really appreciated how clean the room was—they also claim to use hospital grade disinfectants, which is fantastic for a germaphobe like me. I was initially a bit nervous to stay here as some of the reviews stated the rooms were not in great condition; however, I found that my stay was very clean and comfortable. There wasn’t any noisy construction, as mentioned in reviews, during my time here; however, they do provide ear plugs in the room if needed. The staff is very helpful and attentive as well—no complaints about them. The only minor issue is just a few specks/stains on the floor and some scribbles on the wall. Other than that, I would stay here again! "
