"Large comfortable bed and the hotel had pleasing decor. The Bar and restaurant facilities are my reason for the liw score . Bar and restaurant were disappointing. Barman did not appear have any ice . Worst Margarita cocktail I have ever had. It was warm and barman explained the bar did not have any llimes or lemons. At breakfast on second morning we were told teabags and butter were finished. Waiter told us there would be butter ‘ tomorrow’ . Dinner was a set menu of two choices and no choice...

"We loved the pool, though it was not quite hot enough in the morning. The restaurant was better than expected, especially the pasta. If you are a 70 year old woman and you are looking for a #metoo moment thepadro will oblige - tbat's our only complai t. The only complaint."

"Really peaceful and comfortable place in the country but it's not too far from the seaside town and ruins. Had its own little restaurant serving a lovely 5 course meal with wine and coffee for less than you'd pay in town. Good breakfast in the morning completed a really nice stay. Very friendly staff"

"We arrived at 4pm after a three hour car journey, it took them some time to find our booking, we were then told the room was not ready (despite check in said to be available from 12.30). After a further wait, with no offer of refreshment or apology, we were shown to a room which had no fridge and whose key had "been taken by the previous occupants". We complained firmly, and the key was produced within 5 minutes along with a fridge. Overall, there were difficulties communicating with the staff...

"Black out curtains. Nice view of farm. No bar - we stayed here for shelter during typhoon and would have been nice for casual area for wine and antipasto to escape from our room during storm but we understand it is what it is. Good range of options at dinner; fixed, a La carte, or pizza. Huge wine selection. "

"Die Wohnung war ok, die Küche eher spärlich ausgestattet, die Abflüsse verstopft, Dusche verschimmelt, zum nicht besonders schönen Strand war's dann doch 1 km, wegen der Gleise im zugemüllten Alcamo Marina, das teilweise sehr geisterhaft wirkt."
