Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. It is pet friendly and our dog Charlie felt right at home plus it was great to have a nice safe path to walk Charlie to the lakeshore where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the salt water lake.
