"Very nice little apartment for a couple of nights in Ohakune. The room and amenities were super clean and the staff were really friendly. Our only drawback was that the bed was a bit soft for our liking, but you can't please everyone all the time."

"One of the my favorite hotels on month-long trip to New Zealand. After hiking 6-hour Tongariro, the expansive hot tub-pool at Powderhorn was just what the doc ordered. Laundry room on the floor a plus -- and hotel dining facilities (for dinner and breakfast) were very good."

"2 night stay to do a Forgotten World adventures rail trip. Old school motel but clean & comfortable. Easy walking distance to main st for eating & shops. Close to Forgotten World adventures to access excursions. No aircon so we kept the bathroom windows propped well open for some fresh air. Convenient motel for all our needs & popular stop for tourists accessing local excursions."
