"This hotel has a nice lounge area to relax after some hiking. It has some beverages and great background music to enjoy a civilized drink before dinner. Dinner was excellent, with very dedicated staff to make it sure everyone enjoyed the dinner."

"An incredible variety of great foods of ALL varieties at both breakfast and dinner."

"Exceptional service and good dinner and breakfast spreads"

"Amazing view from our room, convenient breakfast and ramen, relaxing onsen"

"Very friendly staff - nice dinner and breakfast"

"Great location, excellent breakfast and facilities."

"Lovely place with caring and attentive staff."

"Hosts are helpful and sent us instructions on the day we checked in. Not really a hostel per se, no cooking was permitted. There was also some charge for disposal of food waste. There was no lighting at the car park area with portholes, so checking in after sunset could be challenging."

"I was a bit concerned about noise, since this is mostly a dormitory/camping setup for bikers (motorized and non-motorized), but they have some pretty strict policies in place and, apparently, their guests follow them. I stayed in one of the separate cabins that was equipped with a bunkbed and table and chairs and was delighted to have one of the quietest stays of all my traveling years. Very nice! Clione’s lobby is wonderful, and they have two private onsens (one for males, one for females)....

"As good of a hostel experience you can get, lovely staff and cleaners, even gave me a lift to the station after checkout, can’t recommend this place enough!"
