The “stables” building we stayed in was so badly sound insulated that we literally were privy to every conversation in rooms above and around us, as well as snoring, moving of bags, flushing toilets etc. The room was “newly renovated” within the last 10 years, but the renovation was so cheap that it was more about a superficial product than comfort. "We stayed for one night at the lodge Billund, arriving late and leaving early for a trip to legoland. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfy beds with good quality bed linen and fluffy pillows. Very quiet even though our bedroom was next to the stairwell. I can't comment on facilities as our stay was so brief but I got a good impression overall, Staff were welcoming and the hotel is very well kept. It's only a 500 metre walk to legoland itself. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. My only comment would be allergen info displayed with food items would be helpful. My son has a milk allergy, but staff were very helpful in obtaining this information for me on my asking."
