The reservation officer that checked us in was very nice and help sorted out whether breakfast was included in the price since this was hard to tell from the email received from Expedia or Marriott. "Acajou offered exactly what my wife and I needed for a short staycation. A few minutes walk to the beach which walks more of having your own private getaway. The food was home cooked and delicious. Very friendly and courteous staff who were more than accommodating. We had the ability to see nesting turtles from our hut! Will be rebooking and recommending. Thank you Acajou! "

"The property was locked at all times, guests movements were therefore restricted as we had to depend on the host to let us in or out of the property. Providing guest with a key to the main gate would have reduced the feeling of being in a prison. The time breakfast was served also was decided by the host. It was way to early for us. I would not have booked if the rating was not so high and I don’t understand what guest would rate it 9/10. There is more that can be said by if you value being able...
