Park Cottage - A very private and scenic holiday home.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (52)
"Wonderful stay with great living areas, and kitchen. The views were outstanding and peacefulness of the area replenished our souls. Though another couple was supposed to be with us, it ended up just being my wife and I. Waking up to the sheep and their new lambs was a added bonus. Though the weather was not ideal, gale force winds, driving rain, sleet and hail, it didn't stop us from exploring from this ideal location. We will return someday. It was a wonderful stay."

Piper's Hut - Central apartment
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"Me and my wife have travelled the north of Scotland for our honeymoon. No place has been as good in quality and services as the Piper’s Hut. We’ve had at our private usage a little flat, with kitchen, bathroom, coffee machine, fridge, toaster, food… It was five minutes foot distance to the city centre of Portree, which is the biggest city on Skye Island and a strategic location for trip routes exploring the island. We met Megan, she has been lovely and caring. We she and Alex discovered of our...

"We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. We were only on Skye for 72 hours so we'll definitely be coming back and would feel lucky to stay here again next time!"

Lochsie Cottage, Peinmore House
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (61)
"We recently spent a week in the Lochsie Cottage. It is very comfortable, well equipped and was spotlessly clean when we checked in. The cottage is a great location from which to explore the Isle of Skye. It is a very short drive into Portree for groceries or restaurants. We found downtown Portree to be congested with people, cars and insufficient parking so it was nice to get away to the solitude offered by the cottage. If I could make one suggestion to the owners it would be to include in the...

"Just a great weekend stay all round! Sam couldn't do enough for us, always helpful and kind. The entry/check-in and our room was well organized and very clean. The inroom continental breakfast was very nice with a large assortment of items. The evening carrot cake was unexpected and delicious. The twin beds were adequate and the comforters kept us warm. Bracken Hide Hotel
4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (38)
"Very quiet. beautiful views. The pods were a bit too small but otherwise loved our stay. Great restaurant and bar. Don’t try and bring outside food into the bar to eat with their drinks. (This was frowned upon). But there was an awesome food truck just up the road (Pizza in the Skye) and we couldn’t resist… They moved us to the “lounge”, which was right next to the bar. Extensive whisky to be enjoyed at their bar. "

The Marmalade Hotel
4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (197)
"Loved Portree and this hotel. Our only suggestion would be to book dining reservations in advance. We BARELY got in for dinner after trying 5-6 restaurants as a walk-up. And this was early in the season (3rd week of April). The brunch at the hotel is great, but I'd also book that early if you want an early start out on the trails."
