"Great country space. Loved the location but would suggest trying to get there before dark to make it easier to find. Comfortable bed, quiet location, great access to walking trails and not too far into the town. Easy commute to Oxford, either park and ride or bus. Great facilities in the cottage."

"The Grange accommodation is either a car drive or a 5-minute hike from Warbrook House itself. So, if it's raining, it's a wet trudge. Apart from that, good food in the restaurant"

"A wonderful stay with exceptional service!
We had a fantastic stay at The Great House in Sonning and would happily return!
When we first arrived, the TV in our room wasn’t working. We mentioned it to reception, and they immediately offered us two alternative rooms, which we were able to go and look at before deciding. The whole situation was handled so quickly and efficiently, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The bathroom in the room we moved to was slightly smaller, but that really wasn’t an issue.
The room itself was lovely, with an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. It was also great to have heating available if needed, as well as a fan for warmer weather. We particularly loved the little touches, such as the selection of snacks and drinks in the minibar, especially the fact that the snacks were from British brands. It’s those thoughtful details that make a difference.
We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the following morning, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive. You really get the feeling that they care about their guests and want everyone to have a wonderful experience.
We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend The Great House. We can’t wait to come back!"
