An oasis of peace and nature! This spacious detached country house with a typical Austrian interior is located at an altitude of approx. 1200 m in the small village of Diex, in southern Carinthia and close to the famous Klopeiner See. Enjoy the lovely garden, sauna and beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, with small ski resorts, numerous hiking and cycling routes and beautiful Carinthian lakes nearby! You can park directly at the house
The charming village of Diex lies at an altitude of 1,200 metres, on the southern slope of the Saualpe. With more than 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valleys in the region here. Hiking enthusiasts can look forward to hundreds of kilometers of marked hiking trails - from leisurely walks to panoramic mountain tours - through forests, flowering meadows and idyllic villages.

In less than 30 minutes by car you will be at Lake Klopein, Europe's warmest swimming lake with a picturesque lakeside promenade. The peaceful Turnersee and the lively Wörthersee with stylish terraces, water sports and towns like Velden or Pörtschach are also within easy reach. In spring, summer and autumn, the region is a paradise for cyclists and mountain bikers, with tours for all levels and the spectacular Bike Park Petzen, a paradise for mountain bikers!

In winter, ski resorts such as Petzen, Weinebene, Klippitztörl or Koralpe (all reachable in about 45 minutes by car) offer beautiful small-scale slopes, ideal for families and beginners who want to enjoy winter in peace and quiet. Those who prefer the tranquillity of the landscape can visit the excellently maintained cross-country ski trails, which wind through forests and across open meadows, offering panoramic views every time.

In Diex and the nearby town of Völkermarkt, you will find shops, restaurants and everything you need for a relaxing and carefree holiday!
