In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. "Excellent stay, beautiful rooms, kindest staff. They were able to support us with changing to hypoallergenic bedding quickly. Only suggestion that I have is some cleverly disguised fly tapes in the lobby. We had to sit waiting for the weather to clear and the house flies were a bit irritating. Otherwise gorgeous property and amazing stay!"

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "
