Ditcheat Holidays

The room had everything we needed including a fan which was very well recieved. The bed was quite hard, which we couldnt do anything about obviously. One of the dials in the shower was loose and fell off when you turned it, but overall our stay was what we expected for the price.

Nice evening Newport not so nice Would stay again if needed to

Nice room, although the electrical outlets were inconveniently placed. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and very close to the Welsh National Roman Legion Museum.

Not happy having to pay to park

Room was very dated, had a musty old smoke smell. The bathroom was in desperate need of renovations. Parts missing from the tap, a weird old dirty attachment randomly stuck to the wall, the bath was marked and scratched (looked very dirty so did not use). Breakfast was an absolute shambles, it was so busy and crowded with no systems in place, there was barely any food left and seemed to be only one person refilling the food station. It was a struggle to get sausage and eggs. 10 minute queue to use the coffee machine and a queue for the toast as only one person was making toast for everyone. Positives - the grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning, staff are really very friendly and welcoming. The pool and leisure facilities are wonderful. Good entertainment in the evening (Saturday night).
