"Great location close to everything. Staff was helpful with finding us a place to charge up our scooters. The furniture was worn and needs replacing. We were woken up every morning around 6am with dogs barking, thin walls. The AC upstairs was turned up to 75-78 degrees and our room stayed too warm. I paid one night in advance but was told that Expedia had not paid it so I had to pay full price upon arrival."

The Old Carrabelle Hotel

"During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). My room was very cute with a welcome bag of toiletries on the bed and coffeemaker/supplies to make coffee without leaving your room. The attached private bathroom was large. Bed and linenss were so comfy and there were ample towels provided. The room doesn't have a TV but Wi-Fi is great. There's a wrap around porch (with a porch swing) on the second floor for sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. Also on-site was a community kitchen for all guests to use and store things in the fridge/freezer. Then there's a covered outdoor area with seating and also a patio area with cafe seating. I absolutely loved the old Florida decor and nostalgic (yet updated) decor and ample amenities of this inn. Carrabelle is a small town but there are several restaurants within walking distance - I had dinner at the Fisherman's wife (fresh caught flounder with hush puppies and corn nuggets was delicious). I highly tecommmed staying here if your trip takes you through Carrabelle FL! I wish I could have stayed longer!"

"Could be cleaner. Air vent in main bath with mold and alarming. Drain flys. bunk bed clothes didn’t all seem clean. Only 2 dishwasher pods. Had to go buy toilet paper. Couch dirty. View amazing. Beach access wonderful. Location great."

"The unit was not ready when we arrived even after the appointed arrival time. The unit was dirty, needed repairs/painting, outdated, furniture smelled, popcorn ceilings falling off, bath linens were dingy & needed to be replaced. On Monday, a construction crew started tearing up fencing around pool area and the wooden paths. All we heard was a chainsaw & other equipment. We were unable to use the pool. The host should have been transparent about this. We moved out on Monday after finding another property more suitable to our liking. Fortunately we were refunded our unused nights & cleaning fee. I find it hard to believe they didn’t know the construction was to be taking place as stated by the onsite property manager. The photos of the property were misleading. We will never stay at this property again."

"Bed was OK. Ceiling fan not addressed. Place was clean and Laura was helpful. Dish washer was loud. Ground maintenance around the pool and chairs were old and some broken. Pool was clean but you can tell little effort is being made to maintain the property "
