"Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner. Food from the cafe was okay, though priced at a premium compared to other similar cafes even at the Marina. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely would return. "

"The Epic was just that, Epic. The customer service was great, the room spacious with a large comfy balcony and the meals delicious and varied. The pools were a good temperature and had plenty of chairs around them. The beach is a bit of a walk but very nice to have on property. However, the ocean water was only in the high 60’s in July so it was nice to have the pool options. We had a two bathroom suite which made getting ready for the day quicker. The room had a nice layout. Overall the hotel was quite impressive."
"A beautifully situated and well appointed boutique hotel graced with courteous, efficient, multilingual staff. The pool and decking is framed with magnificent Mediterranean pines and rosemary. Gym is well equipped and the breakfast buffet abundant. Bedlinen is the finest, softest most silken cotton and the pillows provide a sweet slumber. Clientele in July was a mix of Portuguese ( a good sign when you stay in a country that its own people choose it) and some English, Irish and Italians. Guests were mostly well behaved. "

"We have just returned from a week at the villa. We went as a family of 8 with children/adults from 16 years. The owner contacted me as soon as I’d booked and helped me with any initial queries which put my mind at rest. As we’d arrived on an early flight we were able to drop our bags at the villa before we spent the first day exploring the harbour.The agent was in touch from the moment we booked and whilst there helped with queries efficiently.The villa was perfect! Very spacious for 8 of us.The kitchen had every appliance/equipment you could wish for. We used the outside bbq a few nights too.Pool was amazing. Definitely worth the extra to be heated. Hot tub overlooking the golf course was used more than expected too. We all had a fantastic holiday and highly recommend.The only slight disadvantage to us was the nearest shop wasn't close. We hadn’t hired a car and it was a bit too far to walk down the main roads. There may have been a short cut but we didn’t find it. Would have been nice to have a shop to easily walk to. The area is very quiet only the golf course close by (few minutes walk). However, in saying that we very easily got Ubers from the villa wherever we needed to go. Quick and very cheap compared to UK prices. Ranged from 4-8 euros to the harbour/beach/supermarket. So in fairness we all got about easily.Highly recommend the villa and Paolo was always on hand via WhatsApp for any questions I had. We all agreed we had one of our best holiday there "
