"Domaine de la Calm is a real joy, a perfect retreat from the noise and bustle of 21st century life. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was on hand to give help and useful advice, as required. The house is spacious and well equipped with a lovely outdoor terrace, well shaded in the summer. It is adjacent to Erfan's farm with poultry and sheep- a dream for children ! There are wonderful views towards Carcassonne and the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet rural location, the nearby village of Cuxac Cabardes has an excellent bakery and a mini supermarket as well as a good restaurant. Carcassonne is within 25 minutes drive. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful retreat in the heart of the Montagne Noire."

It has stunning views over the mountains towards the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet location it is within easy reach of Cuxac Cabardes which has shops and a restaurant as well as being a 25 minute drive to Carcassonne. I thoroughly recommend this house if you are looking for a beautiful rural location in the Montagne Noire. "

"We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf. De eerste dagen was het wel erg warm en waren de slaapkamers erg warm om in te slapen. Maar dit kon de pret niet bederven en we genoten met volle teugen."

"Property was great- location is fantastic for anyone wanting to see the best on offer in the south of France. Great amenities provided in a lovely village. The only note we would make is the pool being limited usage was not clear on the listing- it is only available for use 16:30-19:30 Monday to Friday. Otherwise a perfect stay."
