"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a repeat stay on at Palm Island Resorts. We had a fantastic time enjoying the sun, catching fish, shelling and enjoying the sunsets. Management responded quickly to our concerns. They were always compassionate, happy and listened to us. The maintenance staff were remarkable. Sean and the other maintenance crew (I'm so sorry that I can't remember their names.) were always thoughtful, asked for permission and did their jobs well. The unit that we stayed in was disappointing as a deluxe. We found 5 rusty knives, a pan that needed to be replaced. Some of the items in the kitchen in the lower cabinets were just tossed and not arranged. Also all of the kitchen items need to be inspected for usability or be discarded. The eating dishes were clean and without a problem. The ice maker would not shut off. The dryer was difficult to turn the knob and the lint remover was a challenge to take out and to put back in. The place was clean. The fabric on the furniture could be replaced. We understand that it is a beach location. Additionally, the unit needs be painted and refreshed. We will return to Palm Island Resorts. It is the people that made our stay outstanding. Thank you"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everyone working there was so nice and friendly. We love the fact that it is a golf cart only resort. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed touring the whole island with it. The cart made it easy to move our luggage back to our car when we checked out even though they offer this service if you don’t rent your own golf cart. Our room was nice. It had a great view of the beach and gulf. The air conditioning was nice and cold. The room was nice but dated. The carpet needs to be replaced and the room needs some work. The ceiling fan in the living room is very noisy when you run it on the low setting. It also wobbles a lot when you run it on low. Running it on high solved the problem. There was an ample amount of dishes so we were able to make breakfast and dinner in the room. We ate lunch at the restaurant twice. The food was good however I wouldn’t recommend the lobster roll. For the price of the roll it didn’t have enough lobster and I thought it had too much mayonnaise. You couldn’t really taste the lobster over the mayonnaise. The French fries and salads and shrimp and grouper sandwiches were good. We loved our stay and are planning on going back."
