You get what you pay for. Compared to other accommodations on the island it’s cheaper - and it shows. A/C in the room was very noisy. Pool equipment made a permanent unpleasant noise. Pool was not cleaned properly. Room was fine! If you want a budget friendly solution and your main requirement is to get a clean room and you don’t desire to hang out on the hotel grounds you are fine. Both ladies at the reception were very nice.

I needed a place on the island for a couple of nights and the BG Resort was perfect for me. Everyone was helpful/nice and the room, the room was nice/clean, and overall it was exactly what I was looking for.

The resort was unfortunately damaged by the storm. most restaurants and the pool Was Closed. The stay was nice , quiet clean and the A/c worked great. Im sure when its all back in order it will be fantastic . I will be returning

The pool is so sweet and has plenty of shade! The front desk manager allowed me to check in early which was super helpful & she honored my last minute request for a second floor room. My room #209 was GIANT and super clean. Would definitely return!

Pleasant surprise

Didn’t start out so well with our checkin being a little problematic however, the recovery was great. It’s offseason so it was quiet and peaceful. I would not stay on the bottom floor again the child running around upstairs was noticeable. Let us keep our boat on the trailer in the parking lot and I never worried about anything. We launched at the marina behind but only because we were too lazy to go to the public ramp. That marina is private and not setup for what we wanted to do so we wet slipped it for a night . $50 launch fee was a bit rich for me. Convenience store on property was great and the people are just plain nice. We’ll be back
