"The Chom Chiang Rai Hotel opened just 12 months ago. Everything is new and sparkly with plenty of great on-site carparking. Staff are very accommodating to your requirements. On the negative side I have two comments......... 1. Location - The hotel is a short distance out of the centre of Chiang Rai so it will better suit travellers with a vehicle. "Had a family room with an upstairs. Steep steps and low rail, not suitable for young children, great bedding and lovely ceiling to floor windows. Cleanliness very good, outdoor bath was fabulous. A little out of everything but used bolt and grab to travel around and that made it totally inexpensive and easy. Good breakfast and coffee shop on site , very pleasant swimming
