When I arrived back home I saw I was also billed on my card!!! Hotel was fine but definitely not worth >€1600 for 2 rooms x 1 night. So plan for a delay to use transit or a two-way taxi fare. The apartment was dirty. Mould in the closet. The beds were terrible (one like an air mattress & the other was hard as a board). The pillows were so used they were hard packed. The air freshener system is needed because a sewage smell came from one bathroom. "Good size bedroom with good amenities. However, no air con and some rooms very warm with restricted ventilation.
Food and drink are at normal prices and grounds very nice for short walk.

"We only stayed here for one evening on our way back from our Irish coast tour. We were surprised that the rooms were in such bad shape, because the reviews were so good. The bathroom was not in good shape, the carpet was falling apart, the water would not get hot, and the water in the shower was backfilling. "The standard of accomodation came as a great surprise. Everything was immaculate. Very spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful host Orla made check in flawless.
