"I stay at the Maldron Smithfield every year. It's clean, comfortable and quiet. The rooms with balconies have a nice view of the skyline. Car park nearby. One of the best Irish music bars in town is across the street, good cinema and grocery next door, and Luas gets you downtown in ten minutes, or it's an easy walk. Will gladly stay again. "

"This was a fantastic hotel in Dublin. It was right beside St Patrick’s Cathedral, which is stunningly beautiful. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were very clean. The area was very quiet at night. I would definitely recommend staying here if in Dublin. "

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived early as our flight was very early, and we were allowed to go into our accommodation which was appreciated massively. Breakfast was basic but good. Rooms were clean and comfortable."

"This hotel was so lovely! We stayed in a family room with 4 people for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. We arrived a little bit late on our first night and had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious and very well priced. The room was very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk to the bus station and a 30 minute bus ride to the city center of Dublin but the drive in is beautiful. We didn’t have a chance to check out the area around the hotel, but from what we saw the area was really cute with nice pubs and shops. This worked out really well for us from the pricing of this property vs. the prices in the city center. Additionally, it is only about a 20 minute taxi from the airport. I would totally recommend staying here. "
