Nice clean room and very welcoming staff. Great views and good breakfast to start the day. Two night stay while doing a one day caving… could have stayed a couple days longer

Great stay. I only was there for one night but no complaints at all. Clean room. Quiet area but very short walk to good restaurants and cafes. The staff was very nice. I would recommend staying here

The hotel is good value for the price, and a useful base for exploring Dong Hoi. We stopped over on the way to Phong Nha so did not use their tour options, the receptionist did give helpful restaurant recommendations for Dong Hoi though. Room was basic but fine, although bathroom was a little dirty.

Great option in Dong Hoi
Outstanding attention from the staff, hotel is conveniently located and offers great accommodations. If I come back I would definitely stay again here!

The room was large with good AC. The bathroom had a shower, but unluckily - it also had a fairly deep you had to crawl into first. The room was missing two things - the Wifi really never worked in the room, only in the lobby and the room - and the hotel - had no lockbox for valuables. The hotel is located on a very quiet street and there are a few restaurants with-in walking distance. The breakfast was fair.

Good location, great staff and comfortable rooms.
We only stayed 1 night but it was very comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful being more than happy to have guest from all over the world.

Nam Long Plus was in a great location near to the river and beaches but tucked away enough to be quiet from the traffic noise. The staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful with organising tours and onwards travel. Dong Hoi is in an ideal location for breaking the journey between the more we’ll know places ion the north to south route. It’s under rated and a great place to stop for a couple of days

Not a bad option
Clean, new building, a block off the main drag. Friendly staff. Room was huge. The block around the hotel is pretty dead at night, but there are restaurants a couple blocks away, as well as a couple bars. There may be slightly better value places around, including this hotel's sister property, but US $15 a night is reasonable.

The staffs are nice here, They provide tours with different options, feel free to ask anything about the city.You can also order lunch/dinner at the hotel, menu is in english, mostly is american-style food.

Great hospitality, comfortable & clean rooms.
Welcoming, fun staff. They even organized a little New Years Eve party for guests. The room heater was a plus as it was chilly. I appreciated the tasty choices for free breakfast!

Great value for money. Friendly helpful staff. Efficiently organised trips. Stairwell echoes so noisy at times. Special thanks to mini bus driver who took us to tunnels and caves in very bad weather conditions.

Amazing hotel!
What a wonderful place! Super clean, amazing food, and the most lovely staff and family. We didn't know what to expect for the price we payed, since hotels in the North are significantly more expensive, but this place is would easily be worth 50 OR 60 EURO/night if it were in Hanoi. And the family running it really care about your experience. Had vegetarian pho for breakfast. So good!

Great hotel close to river and restaurants.
Stayed two nights early October 2017 to travel to the Phong Nha caves. Really helpful staff. They arranged pickup from the airport, train tickets to DaNang two days later and drop-off to the train station. They also arranged a day-long outing to the caves at Phong Nha National Park - the Phong Nha Cave and the Paradise Cave. They provided pickup and drop-off at the hotel, an airconditioned minivan, an English speaking guide and plenty of bottled water. Big airconditioned hotel room was nice to relax in and the views were great.

We arrived on an overnight train from Hanoi at 5:30 am and couldn't believe we were allowed to check in to our room right away. The couple who runs this hotel is amazing, they went out of their way to make our stay was everything we wanted, helped us get to the sights we wanted to see, and even ended up driving us to the airport. The hotel is near a bunch of restaurants, and the breakfast at the hotel was delicious. It has definitely been one of our favourite hotels on our trip.

Very spacious clean rooms and helpful, friendly staff. I had an amazing view from my room and there's a rooftop which you can go up to. The price/value was amazing. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

The room was spacious, clean. We booked the phong Nha and paradise caves day tour through them and it was amazing. The staff was absolutely amazing, they made sure we felt right at home despite being in a foreign place. While sitting outside (in front of the hotel) drinking coffee to kill some time before heading to the airport, they brought the only fan in the lobby and placed it next to us to (without us even asking) since it was really hot that day. Absolutely great attention to customer care, and the price was icing on the cake. Definitely the best bang for your buck.

Great hotel use as base to visit caves at PhongNha
We originally booked in for an overnight before taking the train to Hanoi after visiting the caves in Phong Nha but because of all the rain in Phong Nha came a day early and stayed two nights. The hotel was able to facilitate our change and gave us a warm welcome as we came in from the rain. .

Best hotel in dong hoi!
Big clean rooms with fast WiFi and cold Ac. The beds are amazing. I think they're some kind of memory foam or something. I slept like a baby. I've stayed at five star hotels where the beds didn't even come close. Staff is exceptional and I booked my tour to see the caves with them. I recommend you book the tour with them because you'll save time and money.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nam Long Plus hotel for 3 nights. My tour to the caves were booked easily and they also arranged my train ticket & taxi to the train station. Very helpyful, friendly & nice breakfast! The room was so clean and a nice place to relax. It's also close to many nice cafes & restaurants, Tree Hugger was my fav and just a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend This hotel.

Wonderful staff, best room we had in Vietnam
The first thing they did was upgrade us to a larger room, with a view, at no extra cost. They arranged a caves tour (which was great), and arranged train tickets to Hoi An. They were very clear about the fees added to the tickets, but it was nominal and we were happy to pay. They were genuinely concerned that I was tired the next morning and something might be wrong with the room(nothing was wrong, I stayed up too late watching HBO). The bathroom was the nicest we had on our trip. Everything was very clean and looked newly renovated, including windows. Bathroom had a shower curtain and very sloped floor so the shower didn't soak the room. we would absolutely go back, if we go back to Dong Hoi.

The weather was not great, which left not much to do in Dong Hoi, but the room was very comfortable to catch up on sleep and laundry during a one month trek.

Best staff....super helpful
The people at the hotel spoke English well and helped us with our plans to go and see the caves. They never tried to sell us any tours, even though they do arrange them if you want. When we told them what we wanted to do, they gave us very sensible and useful recommendations to save us money and time. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time and got the best deals.

Nice hotel that seems to be run by a kind family. It’s in a good location. However, the bathroom was strange as the hole where the ventilator is supposed to be, there is a piece of cardboard blocking your bathroom and the neighbour’s bathroom. Our neighbour was smoking in their room so our room became smelly and that was horrible…
