"The house was absolutely stunning and well equipped. Marilena met use at the villa and showed us through the house - even had stocked in wine, drinks, some starter groceries and we were good to go. Very responsive when we texted a few questions. The house was very relaxing with many places to relax /eat indoor or outdoors. It is a good base to tour southeast Sicily with everything we wanted to do seeming to be 30-60 minutes drive - visiting towns and restaurants."

"Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"Peaceful, relaxing get-away in the Sicilian countryside. Gorgeous outdoor space and landscape, wonderful pool. Good kitchen. One of the double bedrooms with en-suite is accessed via a separate front door which wasn't clear from the listing. Otherwise all was as appears in the pictures, Giovanni the host is very accommodating and helpful (we communicated via Google translate!) and we really appreciated the welcome food package when we arrived late evening. We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay."
